The Wasington Post is reporting Obama as having said, "The world is changing. You have a young, vibrant generation within the Middle East that is looking for greater opportunity... You can't be behind the curve."
He may think he's echoing the cadences of Dylan's "The Times, They Are A-Changin'" but I think he's forgotten young Mr. Zimmerman's very wise words (which the many instant experts on the subject would be well-advised to heed too):
Come writers and critics who prophesy with your pen
And keep your eyes wide, the chance won't come again
But don't speak too soon, for the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who that it's namin'
For the loser now will be later to win
For the times, they are a-changin'
