Putin Brings Back Soviet Labor!

I see that Vlad "The KGB Impaler" Putin has decided to bring back the "Hero of Socialist Labor" lapel pins, minus the "Socialist." The diligently useful idiots at The New York Times read in these tea leaves a "swiveling to the political left." Students of history (the real kind, not the Soviet fiction espoused by the Times' Pulitzer Prize-winning Joe Stalin bootlicker Walter Duranty) will recall that those lapel pins were accompanied by such pro-labor policies as the massacres at Kronstadt and Novocherkassk. Let's hope Vlad is just being all post-modern and ironic.
